How do you make the most of fine hair?

How do you make the most of fine hair?

Fine hair can be both a blessing and a curse. I quite like my hair, it’s always been easy to keep straight and smooth and healthy looking, but I often pine for hair that has a little more to it. One of the banes of fine hair is that, for...
Snow Queen

Snow Queen

White makeup can seem a little extreme but when it’s in the form of sumptuous gently illuminating beauties it’s very hard to resist. Firstly, I’m still madly in love with Hourglass Mineral Veil and I’m sure you’re slightly sick of my gushing over it but honestly, honestly, this is one...
On Trial....

On Trial….

So the Christmas season is nearly upon us and that means there’s going to be a lot of overindulging mixed in with cold weather outside and very warmed houses. This is usually the perfect recipe for my skin to go a little gaga so these are the products I’m going...

The Other Hourglass Primer

Let’s Talk: Your Favourite Body Products

My New Best Budget Friend

My New Best Budget Friend

A short but sweet review today. I reviewed the previous waterproof incarnation of this mascara a little while back after I fell pretty hard for it so when an ultra black version came out very recently, I couldn’t resist. I figured I wouldn’t review it as I’d already gone over...

aussie 3 minute miracle light

I’ve been an Aussie fan since I was a teenager and their 3 minute miracle conditioner has often made an appearance on the side of the bath in my house. So I did a little ‘oohh’ when I was sent the brand new 3 Minute Miracle Mousses that are basically a lighter mousse conditioner aimed at giving the same great results with a gentler touch. Now my hair is very fine and volume and I don’t seem to see eye to eye so I was thrilled to give these a whirl.

aussie 3 minute miracle deep treatment mousse

The packaging is Aussie all over and these have a mousse applicator on top. The first time I deployed the applicator, the initial burst of mousse went everywhere so be warned and go easy, but after that it was plain sailing, I’m clearly just an eejit! The mousse feels exactly like any traditional mousse and the good palm full I’ve been using has been really easy to rub into my hair in the shower. It disappears into the hair so it doesn’t feel like you’ve anything heavy and it rinses out just as easily.

So after a week of using one or the other of these every day, what do I think?

aussie 3 minute miracle deep mousse treatment applicator

Well there isn’t much difference between the two except for the scent but I really enjoyed using both. They’re very easy to use, lightweight and soak in and rinse out with absolutely no hassle. I’ve been a bit lax with conditioning lately but after a week of solidly using these my hair definitely feels and looks softer so I’m nicely pleased. This isn’t as intensive as the regular 3 Minute Miracle Conditioner but this is great as an everyday conditioner that leaves your hair feeling soft but bouncy.

If you’re intrigued, the new range is available now from Boots or you can browse online here and pick one up for the princely sum of €6.89.

So are their any girls out there intrigued by this?
