Budget Eye Buys

Budget Eye Buys

Well hello there and a very happy Thursday to you. I thought with the weekend still a little far away a pricey post might be too much to bear so today is all about some of my new favourite budget buys that are all about primping, concealing, lifting and everything...
Giorgio Armani Eye Tints

Giorgio Armani Eye Tints

I have to say, I’m strangely bereft of liquid eyeshadows in my day to day stash, I just seem slightly stuck in a powdery rut. It probably has a lot to do with the fact I’m not exactly great with creating complex eyeshadow looks, so a little bit of blending...
A Primer for the Very Dry Skinned Girl

A Primer for the Very Dry Skinned Girl

I’ve mentioned this primer a few times but I posted up on Instagram about it again recently after a repurchase and some of you ladies wanted a review so here it is! Instant Illusions is one of those products that can fall under the radar as No.7 aren’t as ardently...
DKNY Delicious Delights / Good Enough to Eat

DKNY Delicious Delights / Good Enough to Eat

I’ve been buying the DKNY Apples for what feels like my entire adult life and I still can’t get enough of them. Actually it has been my entire adult life as I just stopped typing to check when the original scent was released checked and it came out 10 years...
NARS Dual Intensity Eyeshadow Palette

NARS Dual Intensity Eyeshadow Palette

It’s not exactly a shocking surprise to see this baby on the blog as I do have a pretty large love of NARS.I’d be the first to say the brand aren’t without their faults, but they have a lot of beautiful and intriguing beauty bits that call me back to...
Vidal Sassoon Salonist

Vidal Sassoon Salonist

I’m all about home hair dyes and I haven’t had my hair coloured in a salon in years now, although I’m itching for a trip this summer perhaps to mix things up a little. Anyway, ordinarily I colour my hair every few months and I always shoot for a nice...
Brightening Nudes

Brightening Nudes

A random post today, all about pretty things of the soft, feminine nude persuasion, although in truth they just all just looked so pretty together they insisted in their own group post. I was kindly sent the Eau de Toilette of Sí recently and I’d heard a lot of girls...
The Benefit Brow Dupe?

The Benefit Brow Dupe?

I know you ladies love a good dupe as much as I do and I have to say today’s is brilliant darn excellent. I only reviewed Benefit Gimme Brow recently and have been using it very happily since Christmas. I think it’s pretty fantastic for a quick brow fix as...
Essence Cinderella Collection Out Today!

Essence Cinderella Collection Out Today!

Everyone  is digging Disney at the moment (well who doesn’t appreciate a bad ass Disney gal) and Belle and Jasmine have long been my favourites even though I eventually cut the incredibly long hair on my Jasmine Barbie when I was a kid and gave her a bob to my...
Trying to get good skin - Month 1

Trying to get good skin – Month 1

So it’s a new year and I’ve finally decided to get my skin out of it’s monumental jock and get it looking as good as it possibly can. I’ve been spurred on by the fact our wedding is next year and I want to feel and look my best. So...
Real Techniques Bold Metals Collection

Real Techniques Bold Metals Collection

Is there anyone reading this who doesn’t have at least one Real Techniques brush loitering around their house somewhere? If you managed to avoid the hype, fair play, but everyone else (including my good self) have a few RT brushes in their stash at this very moment. These were hyped...

aussie 3 minute miracle light

I’ve been an Aussie fan since I was a teenager and their 3 minute miracle conditioner has often made an appearance on the side of the bath in my house. So I did a little ‘oohh’ when I was sent the brand new 3 Minute Miracle Mousses that are basically a lighter mousse conditioner aimed at giving the same great results with a gentler touch. Now my hair is very fine and volume and I don’t seem to see eye to eye so I was thrilled to give these a whirl.

aussie 3 minute miracle deep treatment mousse

The packaging is Aussie all over and these have a mousse applicator on top. The first time I deployed the applicator, the initial burst of mousse went everywhere so be warned and go easy, but after that it was plain sailing, I’m clearly just an eejit! The mousse feels exactly like any traditional mousse and the good palm full I’ve been using has been really easy to rub into my hair in the shower. It disappears into the hair so it doesn’t feel like you’ve anything heavy and it rinses out just as easily.

So after a week of using one or the other of these every day, what do I think?

aussie 3 minute miracle deep mousse treatment applicator

Well there isn’t much difference between the two except for the scent but I really enjoyed using both. They’re very easy to use, lightweight and soak in and rinse out with absolutely no hassle. I’ve been a bit lax with conditioning lately but after a week of solidly using these my hair definitely feels and looks softer so I’m nicely pleased. This isn’t as intensive as the regular 3 Minute Miracle Conditioner but this is great as an everyday conditioner that leaves your hair feeling soft but bouncy.

If you’re intrigued, the new range is available now from Boots or you can browse online here and pick one up for the princely sum of €6.89.

So are their any girls out there intrigued by this?
