Benefit Gimme Brow // Gives Good Brow

Benefit Gimme Brow // Gives Good Brow

I have a bit of a ‘meh’ relationship with Benefit. In principle I love their packaging, cute ideas and general enthusiasm but more often than not I find their products a little lacklustre for the price. I have found some gems such as the Hervana blush which I adore and...
Get These On Your Face

Get These On Your Face

Every now and again a budget brand release a product that becomes the bee’s knees, the cat’s pyjamas and the object of love and affection from bloggers everywhere. Well here’s the latest one ladies, dubbed a very possible dupe for the high end Hourglass blushes and an all singing, all...

The Benefit Roller Lash Dupe from Max Factor

The Benefit Roller Lash Dupe from Max Factor

When I think of the amount of mascaras I’ve bought over the years (and subsequently the money I’ve spent) which have been either amazing (very rare), wearable but underwhelming (the majority) or downright rubbish (more common than I would hope) I get a little miffed. For some reason, mascaras seem...
Pretty in Pink

Pretty in Pink

While some girls look at a sea of pink glosses, nail polishes and the like and start to glaze over, I do a giddy jig and spend an age swatching everything until I find my perfect pink shade. Some people live for brights, I live for softer shades and pink...
Korres Mandarin Lip Butter Sticks

Korres Mandarin Lip Butter Sticks

I can appreciate a beautiful lipstick as much as the next beauty addict and love reviewing them, but balms and glosses are the way to my heart so after the pretty deadly MAC lippies yesterday, today is about something a little more sheer. I’ve spoken of my love of the...
My First MAC Lipsticks

My First MAC Lipsticks

I have a confession to make. These are my first MAC lipsticks. I know, I know, how am I a beauty blogger without at least one iconic shade in my stash? Well I’ve tried a lot of MAC products but for some reason the multitude of shades and finishes always...

So it’s a new year and I’ve finally decided to get my skin out of it’s monumental jock and get it looking as good as it possibly can. I’ve been spurred on by the fact our wedding is next year and I want to feel and look my best. So...
Real Techniques Bold Metals Collection

Real Techniques Bold Metals Collection

Is there anyone reading this who doesn’t have at least one Real Techniques brush loitering around their house somewhere? If you managed to avoid the hype, fair play, but everyone else (including my good self) have a few RT brushes in their stash at this very moment. These were hyped...

Disclosure – Does it change your view on bloggers or vloggers?

Disclosure with samples and payments is becoming an increasingly hotly debated topic and lately it’s continually coming to the forefront for bloggers and how they earn a living (if they earn one). In one way, it really shows that blogging has now become a viable career choice/part time job/sometimes paying...
What's your blog photography set-up?

What’s your blog photography set-up?

I’m not your average beauty blogger. I’m messy, disorganised and don’t have any proper set up for taking photos. I can guarantee every blog photo you’ve seen in the past few months has been taken in the sitting room by the window – either on the sofa I’m sitting on...

YSL Volupté Tint in Oil in Cherry my Chérie

You know when you have a particularly lovely takeaway that’s, well not quiet diet friendly, and it leaves that magnicient oily lipped look that’s actually quite fetching? Yep, well this does that  with a beautiful colour, a non greasy feel and a moisturising finish. That may not be the best...
Concealers

Concealers

Concealers are little wonders and I wouldn’t be without them so they demanded a little post of their own considering how hard they work for me on a daily basis. I’m a fair boss so I agreed and here we are! At the moment I’m using a mix of three...

aussie 3 minute miracle light

I’ve been an Aussie fan since I was a teenager and their 3 minute miracle conditioner has often made an appearance on the side of the bath in my house. So I did a little ‘oohh’ when I was sent the brand new 3 Minute Miracle Mousses that are basically a lighter mousse conditioner aimed at giving the same great results with a gentler touch. Now my hair is very fine and volume and I don’t seem to see eye to eye so I was thrilled to give these a whirl.

aussie 3 minute miracle deep treatment mousse

The packaging is Aussie all over and these have a mousse applicator on top. The first time I deployed the applicator, the initial burst of mousse went everywhere so be warned and go easy, but after that it was plain sailing, I’m clearly just an eejit! The mousse feels exactly like any traditional mousse and the good palm full I’ve been using has been really easy to rub into my hair in the shower. It disappears into the hair so it doesn’t feel like you’ve anything heavy and it rinses out just as easily.

So after a week of using one or the other of these every day, what do I think?

aussie 3 minute miracle deep mousse treatment applicator

Well there isn’t much difference between the two except for the scent but I really enjoyed using both. They’re very easy to use, lightweight and soak in and rinse out with absolutely no hassle. I’ve been a bit lax with conditioning lately but after a week of solidly using these my hair definitely feels and looks softer so I’m nicely pleased. This isn’t as intensive as the regular 3 Minute Miracle Conditioner but this is great as an everyday conditioner that leaves your hair feeling soft but bouncy.

If you’re intrigued, the new range is available now from Boots or you can browse online here and pick one up for the princely sum of €6.89.

So are their any girls out there intrigued by this?
