I’m in heaven with Autumn, giggling with glee at the rough weather and falling leaves and all round storminess. Autumn always makes you feel like there’s excitment on the air and looking ahead, it seems there’s A LOT to be excited about. The makeup world really doesn’t like to disappoint at Christmas and every brand digs deep and tries to delight us with something new and decadent to make us start writing letters to Santa again. Already, at the very start of October, there’s loads of goodies worth considering for the list or for secretly buying for yourself which is no bad thing at all.
The first pic at the top of the post has a little mix of what’s on offer in the coming months, from Mariah Carey for OPI, the incredible new Clarins eye palette for 2013 and what will no doubt be an enormous seller, the limited edition Hourglass trio set.
Another set which is going to be huge is the one above, the Guerlain Crazy Paris Holiday Collection. I’m not quite sure on the black and neon packaging but I’m desperately coveting the brand new meteorites perles and pressed meteorites powders from this collection. Everything’s expensive but I also think it looks incredible and would make a beautiful gift for a makeup lover.
Lush are always one of my favourite brands for Christmas goodies, they simply know how to appeal to every age, taste and budget and all their products are beautifully made with a big injection of fun. This collection is no exception and I was lucky enough to see it all in person so I know how outstanding it is. This is only a small selection of what’s on offer, but it’s crammed full of creativity and Christmas cheer and I’m seriously craving all of it.
Urban Decay always bring a much injected dose of shimmer and colour to the Christmas collections out there and there’s a gorgeous selection of eye and face palettes, a new Naked shimmer powder and a showstopping selection of Heavy Metel eyeliners which are a relaunch. Colour lovers will eat up every last bit of this collection.
Finally the NARS Guy Bourdin Holiday collection is typical sumptous NARS with beautiful raspberries, reds and purples to fawn over. I simply love NARS and they’re one of the very top cruelty free brands so I’ll definitely be checking all these out when they hit stands.
I can’t fit all the Christmas offerings into one post, but it’s safe to say we’re going to be spoilt for choice this year!
So girls what holiday collection has you most excited?
