My love of The Body Shop knows no bounds and there’s nothing I like more than spending a half hour going through all the scents, body butters and shower gels, delighting in the smells until I find the set I can’t live without. So I did a little dance when I got to try out the new Honeymania collection AND their new White Musk Smokey Rose collection, which both seem lovely and warming in my mind for a new season.
Firstly, I have a special love for bees so loved the idea of this collection. I’m the mad girl you’ll see picking up bees at the end of summer who are near the end of their life and crawling over the paths waiting to get stood on. I’ll even go so far as to tell you I tend to carry them home with me and give them sugar in water and put them in the back garden so they’ll be safe. Don’t judge me but they’re great little lads!
Anyway, for some reason, I couldn’t imagine what Honeymania would smell like as I don’t eat honey so I was intrigued. Well everything smells like honey is the answer, sweet, warming and very comforting. The collection isn’t as sweet and sugary as some of the summer collections and will suit girls who aren’t crazy on really fruity scents. I like pretty much all the collections brought out and this was no exception and suits the new season we’re heading into. Everything in this collection is top quality as always and although the product prices are a little higher, I’m always willing to spend in The Body Shop because you know you’re getting some of the nicest body products out there on the market.
Now to the White Musk Smoky Rose set. White Musk is an absolute institution in the Body Shop and I love that my 80 year old nana loves it as much as I do. Add a Smoky Rose twist and I was in heaven. This still has the deepness of white musk, but with a beautiful rose element to it now that really lifts it and smells, quite simply, gorgeous. I think sets like these are perfect for Christmas and with differing sizes in the Eau de Toilette and perfume you’re sure to find a price point you feel comfortable with. My nana and I may have to arm wrestle over this one.
So girls, if you’re as taken with these collections as I am, check out The Body Shop website for more info!
So girls will you be checking either of these out? What’s your fav Body Shop product?
