I’ve been eyeing these up for a bit online and ended up purchasing two, one online which I haven’t got yet, and this zesty number. This is a step away from my regular pink shades I always wear but I couldn’t resist trying it while summer is still here. Clinique Chubby Sticks have spawned many a lookalike, but that works well for us when we’re trying to save a few quid! This looks identical in shape and size and the crayon-like applicator makes it really easy to use.
What you get when you apply this is a juicy burst of coral orange colour. The shine lasts as long as any similar gloss so after a meal it had all but disappeared but this also stains your lips in the process so there was still a wash of orange colour on my lips for hours after. It still looked good so I felt no need to reapply until it had all gone, so it’s a good alternative for meals out etc. when you want your colour to last but aren’t a big fan of traditional lipsticks.
Overall, I really quite liked this and am now extra excited to get the pale pink shade in the range I ordered! These are a great day time option when you don’t want to have to reapply a product to your lips every hour, so this would work well for the office and night’s out.
Worth a look ladies!
So girls, would you wear an orange shade like this or have you tried any of the Bourjois Colour Boosts? Share!
