Firstly, big news, I made it to the final 12 in the first ever Ooh La La Magazine blog awards, I’m thrilled! Thanks a million to everyone who voted for me or who drops in on the blog!
So it’s been absolutely ages since I did a favourites post but it’s a great way to see what products really worked their way into my heart over the last month because, as any blogger knows, we try out A LOT each month! Here’s my picks girls!
Arbonne Primer - I’ve come to adore this primer over summer. During normal weather, you won’t get even a hint of shine coming through, leaving your makeup looking flawless all day while in this opressive heat, I found a little dewiness comes through but not in a greasy way, leaving skin looking made up but still natural. I like it enough that I don’t even powder the dewiness away! A really amazing cruelty free primer, fab for dry skin.
Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Butter - Ah let me count the ways I love thee. This has become my must-have body lotion because it smells and feels absolutely incredible. It has the most gorgeous light, refreshing lime scent and genuinely looks and smells good enough to eat. Shamefully, when I go to the bathroom I’ll often just open up the tub to sniff it, it’s simply that good. All I need is for S&G to release a body spray in this scent and I’ll be in heaven.
Le Volume De Chanel Mascara – I’ve actually found some seriously amazing products this month and this is another one (reviewed here). This is my new favourite mascara, it’s what I wanted Benefit They’re Real to be. It gives huge lashes but isn’t clumpy, doesn’t flake or feel too dry and isn’t a nightmare to remove at the end of the day. My lashes have never looked as good!
Benefit Hervana – I’ve loved this for well over a year, but recently went back to it after turning away from it for a while. It really is a great blusher for pale girls, a soft pink-peach that looks natural and works well for day or night. A really good staple!
Korres Black Pine Antiwrinkle Firming Face Serum – Oh how I love this serum and how I’ll weep when it finishes and I have to start saving up for it. This is a really brilliant serum and having used it for a few months now, I firmly find this has improved my skintone. Adore this serum but it will cost you!
Viva La Juicy Noir - I really love the Juicy Couture perfumes although I currently can’t afford to splash out, so I was thrilled when I spotted a roller ball version which is double ended, one with their Viva La Juicy perfume, the other with their brand new Viva La Juicy Noir. They’re both gorgeous and, at €13.50, it’s a great staple to have in your handbag.
So girlies, these are my favourites, what are you loving lately?
