I just love when you look in your makeup bag and start to see that you’re cultivating a growing number of products that do their job perfectly and have you looking your best. Well I officially ticked another box this week when my purchase from Debenhams online popped in my letterbox.
I love my eyeliner and think a subtle line close to the lashes really makes your eyes pop. I also only buy liners which are buttery soft and easy to use so there’s many I’ll reject if they don’t make the grade. I’d really liked Soap & Glory’s eyeliners, then also found Catrice Smoky Eyes liner which I thought was fab but I still found that while they were black, they weren’t really the dark as night black I’d been looking for. Well, as my mooching often does, it lead me to Urban Decay and their Perversion liner which supposedly was the blackest, softest, loveliest liner you could ask for. I didn’t need to be told twice, I nipped onto Debenhams online and it was in my cart before you could blink.
So what’s the verdict? Well it’s the business! As with all things Urban Decay lately, the brand just know their stuff and this product is no exception. This super soft liner goes on with ease, leaves a really dark true black line and sets to a water proof finish. I’m no master with liner but I found this easy to use and the added darkness of the liner framed my eyes better and showed up that the Catrice liner I’d been using lately hadn’t really been doing the job! At €15.50, it isn’t cheap but liners always last a good while so it’s an investment worth making! Try it girls, it won’t disappoint!
