I’ve been dying to try Korres lip butters for a long time now so when I finally got my mitts on them, I had my hopes very, very high. Well, here’s the truth in a nutshell. They’ve exceeded my expectations. From the gorgeous packaging to the myriad of beautifully coloured pots of balm, they’re a tiny treasure for lips.
Housed in some very pretty cardboard packaging, each lip butter has a coloured top matching it’s shade and inside contains a little plastic protector lid that sits over the balm so it won’t go all over the lid.
I tried 4 out, Jasmine, Pomegranate, Quince and Wild Rose. All have a beautiful rich pigment that colours the lips with the tiniest amount but with a sheer, natural wash that just accentuates your lips in a really delicate way. This also means a small pot has the ability to last a long time so it’s good value for money, especially considering the quality.
These literally glide onto your lips, leaving them silky smooth so chapped lips will also be a thing of the past. The finish and texture are divine and I loved all the colours even though I thought I would find the darker shades too obvious. They’re simply too sheer and delicate to ever look anything but beautifully natural on which is a total winner for me. You can see them applied below but you can always go lighter or heavier very easily.
I’d sing the praises of these all day long, but suffice to say, I’m completely won over by these gorgeous 100% cruelty free beauties and would really, wholeheartedly encourage you to try them if you love a natural look on your lips.
If you’re falling in love with these too, you can buy them from the lovely Feel Unique for a very reasonable €7.80 each.
