I was sent this lovely collection before Christmas but with all the food and presents and movies etc. there was zero blogging duties done until last week! So finally having a chance to cast my eye over ARTDECO’s brand new offering here’s a breakdown of the products on offer and what I think of them!
Butterfly dreams is a welcome break from the rain outside, with light, pretty colours with accents of blue and pink. The eyeshadow palette(€11.05) is very pretty and like all ARTDECO palettes, has a magnetic interior so you can switch the eyeshadows (€6.75) inside at your leisure. These shadows are typical of the brand, soft and easy to apply and you can see below the look I created with these two eyeshadows, the ARTDECO Sensitive Fine Eyeliner (€12.40) and their Amazing Effect Mascara.
The eyeliner has a superfine nib and as I’m not the best with eyeliner I found it a little tricky but it means you can create extremely thin lines with ease. I really liked the mascara (€14.05) which has a small brush that catches each lash and gives a natural volumised look, I’ll definitely be using this again!
The three lipsticks I also tried were really nice, moisturising and very pigmented. I think ARTDECO are a secret treasure when it comes to lipsticks so if you haven’t tried them before, take a peek the next time you’re passing the Debenhams counter! My favourite is Innocent Kiss, a perfect day time shade that would suit nearly everyone.
Finally, I have to champion the gorgeous new selection of nail varnishes on offer (€11.05) In a mix of satin and iridescent shades, they’re really fun and pretty and perfect for dispelling the rain outside!
