I nearly died of happiness when these came through the letterbox, such was their all-round gorgeousness. Just look at them! These are one of the rare sets of products that are just bloomin’ beautiful to look at, beautiful to use, and, well just perfect basically!
So to the details! Each palette is in a nifty zipped rubber case which, when opened, reveals 6 gorgeous eyeshadows and one miniature lip junkie lip gloss. If you’ve been lucky enough to try out Urban Decay, you’ll know that their eyeshadows are really a delight to use, silky smooth, pigmented and in a myriad of shades. These three palettes are perfect as each is distinctly different in their choice of colour palette while still all remaining very wearable. I’ll break down each palette below in more detail but, suffice to say, they’re all amazing!
Ok less talk more pictures! Here’s the shades in all their glory plus a little detail on each palette!
Urban Decay Fun Eyeshadow Palette €34
Shades:
Fishnet
Deep End
Maui Wowie
Freakshow
Sellout
Stray Dog
Aswell as a mini Lip Junie in Midnight Cowboy
This is the showstopper of the three palettes in it’s sparkly green case that has an octopus on top and a multi-coloured octopus design inside! The shades inside are bright and beautiful. I usually shy from palettes like these because I prefer neutrals but even within six shades, I find the colours very wearable for such strong shades. The mini lip junkie in Midnight Cowboy is one I’ve wanted to try for a while and is a gorgeous shimmering gloss that doesn’t colour the lips. It also has the distinct Urban Decay Lip Junkie menthol smell that tingles on the lips! I think I’d definitely buy the full sized version!
Urban Decay Feminine Eyeshadow Palette €34
Shades:
AC/DC
Bordello
Gunmetal
Lost
Skimp
Hijack Deep
As well as a mini Lip Junkie lip gloss in Wallflower
This has a very pretty purple and lace design and contains 6 shades that cover a lot of colours but all have a soft air so are very wearable. These shades are probably the best suited to me and I could see myself getting a huge amount of use out of this palette. The lip junkie in Wall Flower is a lovely nude shade with no glitter that easily goes with every shadow, taking the hassle out of wondering what products to use!
Urban Decay Dangerous Eyeshadow Palette
Shades:
Deeper
Ace Deep
Gravity
Evidence
Loaded
Mushroom
Aswell as a mini Lip Junie in Naked
I’ve had my eye on the Urban Decay Smoked Palette for a while but thankfully, I think this palette is a great alternative that will happily satisfy my appetite for some sultry shades. Inside the black case embossed with a dagger is a sumptuous range of purple, blue, gold and silver that would easily create a range of gorgeous smokey eyes. I also adore the Naked Lip Junkie which is a ‘your lips only better’ colour with some very fine glitter. Just gorgeous!
So girls, that’s the lot for now! What do you think of these palettes and which is your favourite? Share your thoughts!
