Say what you want about Cheryl Cole, her makeup is always beautifully flawless, spanning a huge following from girls in the UK and Ireland. I’m not her biggest fan, but can’t fault how good she always looks so when I get a chance to steal a look at some of the products she uses, I get very excited!
As the face of L’Oreal, the girl must have an overflowing makeup case so here’s a sneak peek into some of the products she’s been using on her Million Lights Tour.
First, to the bronzer as she’s never without a deep tan and a sun-kissed face. This Glam Bronze Wild Instinct Bronzer in Medium isn’t for the faint hearted, it’s a serious bronzer.
With a beautiful glittery design on top, the glitter topcoat gives way to a deep orange glow which looks a little scary but actually applies really nicely. The compact comes with a decent mirror and a nice brush and even on my seriously pale skin, this looked properly bronzed rather than orange.
Next to the lippie, L’Oreal Riche in Ginger Chocolate, which is one of those magical shades that suits most people and most ages. Case in point, my nana has nicked this on me!
This is a lovely deep pink with a hint of shimmer that can be played down or built up really nicely and is a lovely day time lipstick but would work equally well at night with a smokey eye.
Finally, Cheryl is known for her beautiful skin which always looks perfect but never too overdone. L’Oreal True Match in Golden Beige is the foundation she’s been turning to on tour and sure enough, it’s a beautiful sheer foundation that blends really well but gives excellent coverage while still remaining glowly.
Please excuse the awful photo of my before skin which looks far more ugly when it’s zoomed in disgustingly close.
This shade was, of course, far too dark for my own skin but judging it on it’s own merits I’d definitely check out the palest shade as this looked the business on! All in all, the lipstick and the foundation are gorgeous and, while the bronzer isn’t quite my thing, it would be fabulous on darker toned gals!
So girls, if you want to channel a little Cheryl Cole glamour make sure you hit the L’Oreal stand next time you’re in Boots!
