My birthday is only a month away. Christmas is starting to rear it’s sparkly head distantly on the horizon. It’s time to start compiling the list. The list is always a must-have in my family as people love picking random gifts, but also love having a few hints here and there. I have mental lists of lust all year round but thought I’d share what’s currently making me drool. It’s actually making me excited in case I actually get any of this!
This post will feature a lot of Stila. It’s such a fabulous brand, 100% cruelty free and fecking brilliant. There’s also now two storesin Ireland, one in Liffey Valley and one in Harvey Nichols in Dundrum.
I have two Stila palettes which I adore, and strangely I’m always drawn to their matt shadows. This baby is all matt and just beautiful to look at, cruelty free and goes on like a dream! Must have it!
I’m also dying to try their beautiful new Stay All Day Foundation which sounds amazing, comes in a perfectly good pale shade (I’m always the lightest shade in any foundation) and has a handy concealer and application brush!
To be perfectly honest, any of their goodies from the 2012 Christmas collection look phenomenal, from the lipglazes to their incredible eye pencils to the beautiful blushes, oh my! If all my presents this year were Stila, I’d be a happy girl! But time to move on for fear of Stila taking up my entire lust list!
Topshop’s great makeup collection also have some great new goodies coming up for Christmas and they’re cruelty free too! They’re fun to look at, decently priced and will make most girls very happy if they love their makeup!
I have Marc Jacob’s Daisy perfume which I adore so this was a no brainer. Smells beautiful and looks amazing, this is a beauty magpie’s dream perfume, just look at it! My tip though, if you can buy the perfume and not the spray, even if price wise it means you have to buy a smaller bottle. It always last’s longer on you!
I’ve been wearing Amani Code for years, it’s my go to perfume for nights out and smells divine. My lovely boyfriend always gets this for me and I’m nearly out so hopefully this will be in my stash this year!
If you live in Dublin, you have to spend some time downstairs in Arnotts. Hidden amongst the homeware is a gem of a shop, filled with kitsch stationary, cute cards and beautiful diaries. I’ve been eyeing up a film journal there and there’s also a book version. I’ve seen these on sale in the bigger book stores as well, so check it out if you haven’t already!
Finally, where would I be without some sparkly jewellery. As you can see, I’m a sucker for anything animal related so this ASOS satchel, Accessorize fox ring and River Island necklace and ring set are right up my street!
