Well the sun may have blessed us with a swan song as summer gives way to Autumn, but the times they are a changin’ and that means a whole new range of clothes and cosmetics for the colder months. To be honest, Autumn is my favourite time and I love the recent onslaught of jumpers and beautiful coats hitting the stores, as well as a whole new colour palette to play with. Berry shades are big and NYC have some lovely offerings if you want some sultry nails this month.

This gives everyone the chance to treat themselves for the price of a newspaper, no guilt needed!
These were great to use, the colours were rich, easy to apply and looked great after just one coat. They lasted the same as any other polish and I’ve used the cheap to the very expensive. For me, a good topcoat will ensure any nail varnish will last so invest in a really good one and then you can buy any varnish you want!
The Rock Muse Smoky topcoat is a really nice addition to any varnish collection and gives a dark black tone while allowing the colour underneath to peak through nicely. All in all, I was seriously impressed by this little collection and if you’re a nail addict in need of some vampy tones for September, you won’t be disappointed!
