I’m rubbish at nails. Forget all the beautiful, intricate designs that are floating around the bloggersphere in abundance, I can barely get my polish on neatly, never mind trying to create a mini masterpiece on my talons. So honestly, Nails. Inc have me giving a satisfied sigh of relief with their excellent Magnetic Effects nail varnishes.
These beautiful varnishes make for the perfect fuss free way to create an impact with your nails, getting all the kudos with none of the fiddling. At €17.50 each, they’re certainly on the high end of the price scale, but I decided to judge them on their own merits and then decide if the price matched.
All you have to do is paint a layer of varnish on your nails as you normally would. Once they’re dry apply a thick layer (not dripping off your nail but slightly thicker than normal) onto one nail and then quickly place the topper (which has a handy ridge you place against your cuticle to make things easy) above your nail for a few seconds and voila! Move along your nails and in literally a couple of minutes your nails are done!
I’m rubbish at anything like this normally but honestly this was a doddle to do. My tip would be to make sure you use a good topcoat after as the polish will be quite thick on your nails and therefore more prone to chipping easily.
This polish went on like a dream, was really easy to use with the magnetic topper and dried nice and quickly. The colours are beautiful and rich and the magnetic trick just gives them just the right amount of wow factor.
