I hate reviews like this. Originally, when I was given this at the Too Faced event, I was stupidly excited once I got my mitts on it and skipped home like I’d won a little something on the lotto. There’s no getting away from it, it’s a sexy palette and it reduced nearly every blogger (including myself) I saw to quivering messes once they saw it. It swatches beautifully, it has a gorgeously soft and dreamy shade selection and come on, it has freakin’ bunnies on the packaging. Not to be blinded by its good looks, I remembered that it was (at the time) €62 which is a serious chunk of change and I kept in mind how I had dithered over it in Debenhams before being invited to the event and gifted it. So I began working hard over the last few weeks trying to figure out whether it was worth the money which I felt was possible considering you get 30 shades. But then a girl very kindly contacted me on Instagram to let me know she had gone to buy the palette and the price had changed to €72. And so, I’ve had to come back to this review because suddenly €72 seems like mad money. So here we are, my review of the seriously beautiful and seriously pricey Natural Love Palette.
Ah lads, there are so many amazing lipsticks on the market for Spring I’m not actually sure where to begin. My lips are knackered with the amount of colours and finishes I’ve been slapping on them over the last month but finally I’ve finished all the trialling (it’s a tough life) and I’ve a load of amazing Spring/Summer lipsticks for you to take a peek at. I’ve thrown in a few new glosses too as my heart belongs to them and some lipsticks that aren’t technically brand new but are new to me which I hope is good with you. I also have a nice balance of beautiful lipsticks here that are either super cheap or a bit posh so whatever the bank balance is, hopefully something here will suit. To ease you in gently, I’m starting with the cheapies and ramping up from there.
My god, there’s so much new budget beauty hurtling towards us. Honestly, we’re spoilt for choice. If you feel an itch only a rummage on a makeup stand can scratch but didn’t have the funds for my luxury Spring/Summer buys post earlier this week, hopefully this will help make up your mind about a lot of budget friendly products currently out. Some is good, some is mediocre but there are a few gems worth investing in.
